Wet & Dry Foundation is a finely milled, micronized powder that behaves differently depending on how you apply it. Used dry, it’s a light, mattifying veil, particularly good for oily T-zones and touch-ups over existing makeup. Used damp, the texture turns creamier and gives more visible coverage, which makes this one product genuinely useful for both oily and normal skin, and a good starting point if you’re new to makeup or don’t get on with cream foundations. One thing worth knowing: like most powder foundations with a similar finish, the formula may contain bismuth oxychloride (listed as CI 77163). It’s a common mineral makeup ingredient, but a small number of people with very reactive skin find it irritating, worth a patch test first if you know your skin is sensitive to mineral powders.
