Your RESURFACE² Protocol, 6 Weeks of Renewal
RESURFACE² is not a range of individual products, it is a protocol. Two targeted 6-week programmes, each built around a specific skin concern, each clinically validated at the University of Naples Federico II.
RESURFACE² proAGE, for wrinkles and skin density
Weeks 1 to 4: Cleanse with the Exfoliating Cleansing Cream morning and evening. Tone with the AHA 5% Tonic morning and evening. Apply the Skin Renewal Serum EGF 4 to 5 drops morning and evening. Moisturise with the Day Cream SPF50 each morning and the Cica-Ceramides Cream each evening.
Weeks 5 to 6: Continue cleansing and toning. Replace the EGF Serum with the Regenerating Serum Retinol morning and evening. Continue with Day Cream SPF50 and Cica-Ceramides Cream.
RESURFACE² skinREFINE, for texture, acne scars and imperfections
Weeks 1 to 4: Cleanse with the Exfoliating Cleansing Cream morning and evening. Tone with the AHA 5% Tonic morning and evening. Apply the Rebalancing Serum Azelaic Acid + Vitamin PP morning and evening. Moisturise with the Day Cream SPF50 each morning and the Cica-Ceramides Cream each evening.
Weeks 5 to 6: Continue cleansing and toning. Replace the Rebalancing Serum with the Regenerating Serum Retinol morning and evening. Continue with Day Cream SPF50 and Cica-Ceramides Cream.
Who Is RESURFACE² For?
RESURFACE² is for adults whose skin concerns have moved beyond what a standard cleanser and moisturiser can address. If you have fine lines that feel embedded in the skin, persistent acne scarring, uneven texture that no amount of make-up sits well over, or a general dullness that sleep and hydration do not shift, this is the range designed for those concerns.
The proAGE protocol is the better starting point if your primary concern is wrinkles, loss of skin density or early signs of ageing from the late 20s onwards. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use RESURFACE² alongside other DDP ranges?
During the active 6-week protocol, keep your routine focused on the RESURFACE² steps to allow the acids to work without interference. The Cell Detoxium Cleansing Cream can replace the Resurface Cleansing Cream if preferred. After the protocol, RESURFACE² products can be maintained as part of a broader DDP routine.
Is SPF essential during the protocol?
Yes, non-negotiable. Exfoliating acids and retinol both increase photosensitivity. The Protective Micro-Exfoliating Day Cream SPF50 is the AM moisturiser in the protocol precisely because it provides the protection the skin needs during resurfacing. Do not substitute it with a lower SPF product.
Will my skin peel or become red?
REVIVYL™ technology is specifically designed to minimise irritation and downtime. Some mild sensitivity or very light flaking may occur in the first 1 to 2 weeks as the skin adjusts, this is normal and typically resolves as the skin acclimatises to the acids. If significant redness or discomfort occurs, reduce frequency of the tonic and consult your beauty therapist.
Can I repeat the protocol?
Yes. The 6-week protocol can be repeated after a rest period, or continued as a maintenance programme using the Day Cream SPF50, Cleansing Cream and AHA Tonic daily between courses. Your beauty therapist can advise on the appropriate schedule based on your skin’s response.
